Pintlala VFD serves the western part of Montgomery County, encompassing US 31 and I-65.  A community of about 4000 houses, spread out among 125 square miles is our main service area.  We have approximately 40 active members that respond to an average of 225 calls per year (Fire/EMS combined)


In 2007 Pintlala VFD became the first (and only) volunteer fire department in Montgomery County to provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) services to county residents.   Three years later, PVFD provides unmatched pre-hospital medical care to the service area.

  • Vehicle Rescue (Extrication)
